Vincent Cunillère was born on December 25, 1964 in Sète. At the age of sixteen, he studied at ETPA Toulouse, one of the oldest French photography schools. In 1993, the painting crossed its path thanks to several artists’ encounters: Arman, César, Zao Wou-Ki, Claude Viallat, the brothers Di Rosa, Jonone to name but a few. Official photographer of the painter Pierre Soulages since more than twenty years, he has today many photographic contributions to his credit, including several art books: « Conques, the windows of Soulages » published by Editions du Seuil in 1994, « L’atelier de Pierre Soulages » published by Thalia in 2009, but also different exhibition catalogs for museums in France and other international galleries. In addition to his personal creative work that he develops on light and materials, his images have been published in prestigious press magazines such as Paris-Match, Le Monde, L’Express, Gala and various art reviews.
