ARCHIVAL PHOTO EXHIBITION
AT THE PRINCE’S PALACE OF MONACO
Discoverers in the soul as well as defenders of arts and techniques, the Princes of Monaco have always marked the scholarly and cultural adventure of Monaco. At the invention of photography, it is Albert I who first opens the way to more than 150 years of deep commitment to the arts and humanities. With the same taste for knowledge, Rainier III and Albert II of Monaco embody the same spirit of patrons to this day. Through their travels and experiences, it is the universal heritage of Monaco that this historical exhibition proposes to trace in images on the Rock, from the photographic Archives of the Prince’s Palace.
