PHOTO EXHIBITION WITH ENERGY OBSERVER
AT THE OCEANOGRAPHIC MUSEUM OF MONACO
Based on Energy Observer documentary reports, Oceania exhibition wishes to present a set of committed photographs on the protection and preservation of the seas at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco. Between art and ecology, Oceania wants to testify, by visual interest for the scientific image, about the influence of men on marine environment. Achieving the first autonomous world round — thanks to renewable energies and hydrogen —, thus without emission of gases or fine particles: that is Energy Observer’s challenge! For the first time, this ship of the future will produce its own hydrogen on board from seawater, thanks to solar, wind and tidal energy. An unprecedented technological proof, pioneer of tomorrow’s world energy. This expedition is also a human challenge: a 6-year world tour, 50 countries and 101 stopovers. An odyssey that will go out to reach all those who draw tomorrow’s world with Victorien Erussard: offshore runner / Merchant Marine Officer, Jérôme Delafosse: explorer / documentary filmmaker and Jérémy Bidon: embedded photographer.
